Twine, Gum, Metal. 20" Tall x 12" ide

These baskets were tightly woven of twine, decorated with metal,  after which they were steeped with fat or resinous gum, which was heated to be properly absorbed into the woven structure, this would make them water tight ontainers. It was kept for special purposes such as to offer milk to visiting guests.
