Lost Wax Bronzing Bowl

Size: 3.5" Tall

Circa: 1650 - 1850

Bowl artifact from before the mid 1800's used by metal artisans in the Benin Kingom when creating by the lost wax method. Molten bronze would be poured out of these bowls into the waiting lost wax mold.
