Maasai Cow Bell, Kenya.  Metal and Animal Hide.  The Maasai believe that cattle were a gift from God, and that they were given the first cattle, thus resulting in all the cattle being descendants of their cattle.  They have been known in times of drought or famine when they have suffered a loss to their herds, to go into neighboring areas and 'claim' cattle from other tribes believing it was their right as owners of the first cows.

15" Tall x 5.5" Wide
